Acne lesions
usually occur on the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders.
Although acne is usually not a serious health threat, it can
be a source of significant emotional distress. Acne isn't
really helped by the sun. Although a tan can temporarily make
acne look less severe, it won't help it go away permanently
— and some people find that the oils their skin produces after
being in the sun make their pimples worse.
Acne medication can take
weeks or months to work.
Acne
is an inflammatory skin disorder of the skin's sebaceous
glands and hair follicles that affects about 80% of people
between the ages of 12 and 24. During puberty high levels
of hormones are produced in both girls and boys. Acne is
not caused by eating certain kinds of food, such as greasy
food or chocolate. It is not caused by stress, dirt, or
sweat. Acne negatively affects psychological health and
psychosocial functioning. These characteristics are more
subjective than psychiatric conditions, and they lack specific
clinical definitions.
Acne
treatments must be strictly relevant with your skin
type and acne type. They can also be systemic, i.e. Acne
can create feelings of intense shame and anguish. Other
kids can make cruel and damaging remarks about acne. Acne
in young women tends to be more random and linked to hormone
changes, such as the menstrual cycle.
Acne
affects most teenagers to some extent. However, the disease
is not restricted to any age group; adults in their 20s
- even into their 40s - can get acne. Acne occurs when tiny
holes on the surface of the skin called pores become clogged.
Each pore is an opening to a canal called a follicle, which
contains a hair and an oil gland. Acne fulminans is the
rapid onset of severe, inflammatory acne, often accompanied
by fever, arthralgia, and bone diathesis. The triad of severe
acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, and dissecting cellulitis
of the scalp may require aggressive treatment and acne
skin care.
Acne
is not just a problem at the surface of the skin. We use
the finest botanical ingredients to treat the problem at
its source. Acne is moderate when pimples (blackheads ,
whitehead, and comedones) cover approximately half of the
face. If you have moderate acne, consult a dermatologist
in order to quickly get a handle on your situation. Acne
is probably the world's most common skin condition. Almost
everyone experiences some acne problems between the ages
of 11 and 17.
